  [S3] Mary Frances Reynolds Eggleston. Tommy was born in Danville, Va. His mother, Sara Hughey relocated from Greenville, SC, after the death of her husband, Harold, to Danville Va. near her sister and brother-in-law; Burton K. White and Nancy Hughey. Tommy hanged himself at age 18, during his senior year of high school. His brother, Jack, was in Blacksburg, attending Virginia Tech. and drove 2-1/2 hours to his home before he found that his Brother had died, not his Mother.
